The gold price increased gradually in the previous six months. But in the previous week, there is no gradual and instant rise and fall observed in the gold prices. And, in the last week, just an increase of Rs. 900 per tola is recorded for the 24-carat gold.
According to a report submitted by All-Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association (APSGJA), the current gold price of 24 carats of one tola gold is PKR 2,36,200, which is increased by PKR 450. While the price of 10 grams and 24 carats of gold is PKR 2,02,503, which is increased by PKR 385. This report was submitted on Saturday. And, these increases in gold prices are noted on Saturday.
In the previous week, on Monday there is a great increase in the gold prices of PKR 2000. On Tuesday, the gold prices decreased to PKR 100. On Wednesday, gold price again increased by PKR 600. And, on Thursday it was noted a decrease in the gold price by the PKR 1800. While on Friday gold price again decreased by PKR 250. And, on Saturday gold prices again increased by PKR 450.
As a whole if we calculate, in the previous week almost PKR 900 per tola increase in the gold price. And, also collectively in the previous 15 days, there is a gradual increase in PKR 2200 per tola in the gold price of 24 carats.
With only three trading sessions left in the current month, the price of the precious metal has experienced a significant surge of over PKR 16,000 thus far in May.
